belief is a powerful thing.. I believe you are deluded.

You know, mr/ms WTC, 9/11 person
This is not the first, nor will it be the last multi-leveled subterfuge.
These things occur on much smaller scales everyday.

It is good to be aware of them
It is good to not believe what you are told, but to believe what is reality itself.

There is no need to convince anyone else.

With all the untruthfulness around, just be truthful,

When people say things about you, just let them say them it is not possible to dissuade someone from loyalties to their own delusions.

I for one, don't think that you are deluded, but at the same time it is possible to be not-deluded in a deluded way, in a deluded direction, down a deluded path.

I am not trying to dissuade you from your loyalty to the pursuit of truth, I just think the pursuit of reality
is the path without delusions.

Thank you.

Don't listen to 'em! Buddha worked for the CIA; he was in under deep cover posing as a guru while directing the training of Tibetan independence fighters in the Himalayan foothills.

No, seriously, good 'reality' post, Anon... (CIA?)

Then how is it that democracy proceeds,
if not by nonviolent persuasion
based on honest inquiry?

After sitting quietly for a while,
one must eventually
get up and wash the dishes.

"There comes a time when silence is betrayal"
-- Martin Luther King, Jr.

"You have to say something."

"My definition of a free society is a society

At a certain point, silence is complicity.

The banality of evil is just going along
with the crowd.

Not so. I was persuaded to abandon my false views
when kind individuals pointed out for consideration
evidence that had been censored.

Hmm, interesting...

Can you be a little more concrete?

Specifically how can one proceed
in a non-deluded fashion?

Thanks in advance.

Conservation of Energy

If an object moves with free-fall acceleration,
then ALL its gravitational potential energy
is being converted to kinetic energy.

Ask yourself: where is the extra energy coming
from to defeat the inertial resistance of
massive amounts of structural steel and concrete?

(God, I wish Richard Feynman were still alive :(

Hey Anon, or is it anon? I sympathise with with your distrust of the "received reality", but Popular Mechanics ran a story back in '05 that pretty much de-bunked all the so-called evidence you talk about.

But hey, who am I to say anything. I've never even been to NYC.

Thanks PhilBob, but...
